This week I'm going to be burning up phone lines and email trying to get more presentations scheduled. Right now, I'm already booked through May, so I'll be working on getting the summer months filled. If you know of any group who would like to hear information about Camp ASCCA, please let me know. I would be more than happy to visit!
Last week I visited Ttown, also known as Tuscaloosa! Camp ASCCA's good friend, Mollie Williams, asked me to come speak for her Special Education class. Going into Tuscaloosa, we got lost and ended up seeing parts of that town I had never seen before! Mollie did her best to guide us to Graves Hall, but goodness only knows what she thought as we rode right past her without stopping! :-) Finally, we made it and I did my best to tell her class mates all about camp. Apparently, even though I was quite flustered, I still did well enough that the instructor asked me to stay and speak with his next class! Unfortunately, Mollie didn't get to hear the second and better version of my presentation! I let each class know that we are still looking for male counselors for our summer staff and as always, it was my pleasure to share Camp ASCCA with them. Thank you Mollie for inviting me to your class! I had a great time and I hope it was helpful.
On Friday I went to Montgomery for the District Rotary Conference. We took a display of Camp ASCCA photos and information. As the participants of the Conference came in, I was able to greet them and talk about Camp ASCCA's latest news and events. I also had the pleasure of meeting and thanking several people who have been long time supporters of Camp. One of Camp ASCCA's board members, Tom Mann, wanted Camp to have some exposure at the conference and I certainly appreciated the invitation.
Also, two weekends ago I went to my hometown of Camden. I had a ball with my family and sisters. The special event for the weekend though was celebrating my Grandmother's 89th birthday! It was great to see her and to watch her enjoy her special day! As soon as I'm able to get the pictures from that weekend off of my Mom's camera, I'll be sure to post them.
This week I'll be in Cullman on Tuesday and Talladega on Thursday!
Later........
PS. OOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it was my little sister Megan's birthday too! Forgive me, I tend to be a little forgetful these days, but I really don't think I've neglected an entire week! :-)

But, you left out a week----you didn't tell what you did the week before you went to Tuscaloosa & Montgomery. AND, you forgot that the Camden weekend was also to celebrate Megie's 30th birthday!!! Very important!!
Love you, Mom
