Shanae... my new friend
I've been going through the past year just hearing about how great Shanae Heard is and watching her become prom queen, etc. I've occasionally said hi to her in facebook and on this website. It wasn't until this week, however, that I've come to know her even better.
On Monday Allison and I were talking about the upcoming May Campership Appeal letter that will go out to approximately 20,000 potential donors for our campership fund. Last year when Justin Strickland wrote the letter, we got an amazing return! So, Allison and I thought that Shanae might have a great story to tell and great experiences to share about ASCCA.
Turns out she does. I've communicated with her all week and she IS an amazing person. Very friendly, heartfelt, and giving. She's my new friend and I'm proud of her and thankful for all of her support to Camp ASCCA and all those, like her, we serve!
