Whew, I've been busy. Not only with my wonderful at-home family life, but here at work. Over the past few weeks Camp ASCCA has been involved with so many fundraisers!
On May 13th we had the
10th Annual Tommy Tuberville Golf Tournament. That was a lot of fun. Thanks to Matt McMillan and Amber Cotney for taking all of the photos that day! The tournament was a big success and we had 31 teams show up and 4 more on a waiting list!
On May 16th, Ryan Mercer hosted his
12th Annual Ryan's Gospel Singing Jubilee in Tucker, Georgia. We all had so much fun... Laura Lee, Kyle, Lisa, and Traci all showed up for support too. The funds raised went to our campership fund.
Tonight, John, Allison, Geni and I are traveling to attend the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary's
4th Annual Committment to Service Award celebration. The funds raised through this event, honoring and roasting Dr. Lynn Beshear, is sponsoring our new accessible water playground or
"splash pad". We look forward to seeing several board members there tonight as well.
On top of all of these exciting affairs, we recently sent out our annual spring campership appeal letter to 20,000 folks. I'm getting a pile of returns and donations each year and I'm just trying to stay "on top" of these with the thank you's.
I feel so blessed to live at such a great place and be associated with so many kind and generous individuals and groups of people. It makes me very happy...
Great job Dana, with all you've been doing! :-) Thank you!
